April 6, 2026 — It’s a War of the Wings! This weekend! The 10th Annual USCS North vs. South Shootout winged sprint car speed spectacular invades I-75 Raceway near Sweetwater, Tennessee on Friday and Saturday, April 10th and 11th.

The event features the Southern-based Hoosier Race Tire United Sprint Car Series Presented By XC Gear versus the Midwest-based Great Lakes Super Sprints in a battle between two of the Nation’s top winged sprint car series.

The 750+ horsepower USCS & GLSS Winged Sprint Cars will be the fastest race cars to visit I-75 Raceway, or any dirt oval in East Tennessee this season. The winged sprint cars are expected to reach speeds of 125+ miles per hour around I-75 Raceway’s high-banked 3/8 mile clay oval.

The Sportsman Late Models, Street Stocks , the popular Front Wheel Drive and B-Sportsman divisions plus a bonus (to be announced) racing division will be added onto Friday night’s racing card. All divisions including Ludington the winged sprint cars will contest a full racing format on Friday night including main events.

Saturday night’s weekend finale features the USCS and GLSS winged sprint cars battling wheel-to-wheel in their 1300 pound, open-wheel, 750 horsepower winged chariots of speed, while screaming like jet-fighters in a gymnasium at speeds over 125 miles per hour for the second night of racing action.

The I-75 Sportsman Late Models ($1000 to win) , and the Front Wheel Drive division plus the B-Sportsman divisions return for the second night as well. The GM Performance 602 Crate Late Models ($1000 to win) also join Saturday night’s action-packed racing card.

Friday 4/10:
Pit gates and Tier parking gates will open at 4:00pm, grandstand gates will open at 5:00pm The driver’s meeting is scheduled for 6:30pm followeed by hot laps and then, racing at 7:30pm.

Saturday 4/11:
Pit gates and Tier parking gates will open at 3:00pm. grandstand gates will open at 4:00pm. The driver’s meeting is scheduled for 6:00pm followed by hot laps and racing at 7:00pm.

Admission pricing is as follows: Adult General Admission is $25 with Youth 6-11 years old $5 and Children 5 years old and Under FREE!
Adult Tier Parking is $25 with Youth 6-11 years $10 and Children 5 years and Under are FREE!
Adult Pit passes are $35. Youth 6-11 years are $20 and Children 5 and Under are FREE!

I-75 Raceway is located 4 miles North of I-75 Exit 60 (Sweetwater) on Highway 68.
